i have hair half way down my back and it is straight and light brown and i have a round/oval face and im 12 and im wondering what would look good on me (length, layers-maybe, etc.)

Yes, shoulder length is good. Definitely add some layers. Avoid any layers or bangs that are higher than the chin or lip line.

layered with bangs on the front and on the side. forming a "v" shaped on the back keeping the length :D

I'd say to get it cut just a few inches past your shoulders, and get some layers in it, and bangs, too.
