No...some beauty parlors actually do a very good job...that is if your not doing the blonde look..within a couple of weeks the darker hair comes in and looks beyond tacky. The bad part is that dye is a toxic agent....so it's not good for your body as well.
If it's not safe to drink......do you think your hair would want to drink it as well?
Stay natural kiddo....then you can't go wrong!

Most definately not. Dying your hair a certain color will leave your hair that color temporarily. The longest the artificial color will stay depends on the kind of hair dye you use. If you use a good quality hair dye, then the color will stay for a few months, on the other hand, if you use one that's not very strong, then it'll wear off in a few weeks. After the color wears off, you'll get back your natural hair color.

Everyone thus far has been right... no, it doesn't taint your natural haircolor as it grows out.
What you might be thinking of is what happens to people who trade out their natural color for another for an extended period of time. As you grow older, your haircolor changes (no, not just to grey... it can become more dull). When people haven't seen their natural color in a loooong time and finally decide to go back to their roots =P it will look different. Now, coloring your hair does damage it; can make it more fine, more breakage, more split-ends... but I'm assuming that you are speaking about the untreated hair.

No, it will eventually grow out. At which point you would need to cut the part that is dyed off. Unless of course you decide to dye it again, then it wouldn't matter.

Well.... are you bleaching it or going darker. Because I dye my hair sometimes and it fades out and looks good after a while. It depends on your hair type. That's if you're going darker. I've never bleached my hair, so I wouldn't know about that. Good Luck:)

nope, i've got in no way dyed it ... yet my hair itself differences some hues (or colorations of the comparable shade) throughout the time of one twelve months ! interior the summertime this is mild brown with blond highlights, interior the spring and autumn this is brown-pink, almost orange and interior the iciness this is darkish brown ! :)

No, it will grow out if it is permanent and will take a while get ride of and fade if it's a wash out.
