OMG I must be a man lmao. Seriously I love sex but I find in long term relationships the men tire off it before I do. Suppose the answer is to have short term relationships to keep up the excitement but then you feel you want long term. Cant win can we.

ps - If you are a man then leave me your number lol

Human beings are one of the very few species of animal who do not have physical signs (e.g. powerful scents, color changes) during fertile periods. Therefore, to keep our population strong, people have the urge to procreate any old time. Now, women and men have differences in their biology which help maintain the reproductive potential of the species.

It takes a woman 9 whole months to have a baby (plus a waiting period before she could get pregnant again). At that, she is only fertile for a certain number of days each month. A high sex drive in a woman (although plenty of women have it!) would not increase her reproductive potential, since she can only get pregnant so many times throughout her life span, no matter how many times she has sex.

On the other hand; men have an endless supply of sperm, and they could potentially, in theory, impregnate thousands of women in their lifetime. It is in a man's instincts to have sex with as many women as possible in his lifetime.

Instinctively, men are not as selective about potential sex partners because their instincts are just telling them to get the job done and make as many babies as possible. However for women, since they do not have the reproductive capability of the sheer numbers that a man has, it is in a woman's instincts to seek out the very best genetic partner to procreate with. This doesn't seem to apply to us so much anymore, because our society has different ideas about love and family than there probably were thousands of years ago. But the instincts are still there. In hunter/gatherer societies, women looked for men who would give them strong, healthy offspring and who would also be a good provider for the offspring. The strongest, healthiest, best hunters would be able to support multiple women and children, whereas men with weak genetics would not be as successful at passing on their genes.

So simple answer: It's in his biology, hon, and there is no changing it. That doesn't mean that a man is incapable of being monogamous. It also doesn't mean that men are stupid, brutish, or simple creatures becuase of their sex drive. It just means that most men want sex ALL THE TIME.

Because the basic function of any animal is to procreate so they are wired to want to have sex all the time and if there is no willing partner then they relieve this need by themselves.

But women love sex too!! And when they don't get it they **** too!! Its not just the men!!
