Peace would be nice ideally, but I don't want peace to come just out of fear of conflict, because then it's just pointless. Peace is great, but do you want peace to come just from everyone keeping their mouths shut or do you want ACTUAL peace, the kind where everyone works together for the betterment of mankind as a whole? Unfortunately most people don't care if there's war, as long as it's not happening to or affecting anyone in their back yard, so to speak. If it's not happening to them or someone they care about, they will either not care at all or only care temporarily and then go back to their selfish agenda. In short, people don't really care about peace, they just want peace in areas of the world that affect them.

I would rather see the Gospel preached to all nations rather than peace. If everyone followed the teachings of the Gospel this world would be peaceful!

True peace is not an impossible dream, but it will take more individual effort than many people are willing to put forth at this time. Perhaps someday we'll grow up.

Peace is an illusion. well until every last one of us are dead. because as long as theres one person left he'll be running around breaking windows blowing **** up screaming i'm god.
