This is question shows great insight.
The idea of romance in western european culture has changed over the years.
What was once romantic is now stalking under most stalking laws.
If a husband and wife, have a dispute and wife goes to mother's for the weekend, and the husband sends flowers and an apology, this has been deemed stalking by the legislature and the courts in Michigan.

I had one that would leave roses on my car for years. That sure did get creepy. Depends how long you keep it up. At first it can be romantic but dont keep it up too long and turn it into a creepy thing.

It depends on how the secret admirer lets you know they like you...
If they spray paint "I love you and want you to be with me and no one else" on your car they are creepy..
If they send you flowers and a love poem it can be romantic...
It's all in the approach and delivery..

I find it more annoying than anything else. Unless you have a tiny idea who it could be, then it's either creepy or romantic depending on the person.

I would say romantic, flattering for sure. I guess it could be creepy if your admirer was a creep!!

well if it is an old man that is trying to get wit a young girl then thats creepy but if it is like a fair aged person that does that wit a fair aged person then yea it is fine!...romantic speaking

Totally romantic, if it's done properly...no stalking or following or threatening....just sending cute little gifts and things like that. I think it has an old fashioned ring to it.
