Not all the time.It just means that they really like each other and they wnat people to get to know people.They could get married.But,if the people on the different sides of the family don't get along,they probably wont get married.Basically when they meet each other,they are making sure everything will be ok if they do get married.

Not necessarily. I have met family members of guys I have dated but didn't marry them.
