Assuming it was a guy that you were making out with, chances are that the guy was just using it as "commitment free play time." He would probably be acting the same way even if you guys had been considerably more intimate.
Also, why were you making out with somebody that you weren't even "going out with"???

It sounds to me like they are using you because they can get to make out with you easily. If you like this person I would back off now as they are not treating you with any respect at all. You have to respect yourself.
