Only after one of you claims its official.... If you two are just dating, that means you two can see other people... You two need to have THE TALK.... then you will both know where you stand. I was "dating" this guy for 6 months and dating other guys at the same time... It was never boyfriend / girlfriend for me... But He thought it was.... I had told him in the beginning that I was NOT a serious girlfriend kind of girl... and he thought he could CHANGE me... that didnt happen and I broke up with him when He told me he loved me. I didnt need that in my life... WE WERE ONLY DATING.... so be careful.. Sometimes people avoid the talk because of situations like that one.

Wow that varies a lot. I have been on over ten dates with the same guy and still didn't call him boyfriend. But my current boyfriend I knew right away. After two dates I began introducing him as my boyfriend.

Doesn't matter how many dates - it depends on how well you are connecting - your personalities (if shy) may take a little longer to connect that two that are not so shy. I would say about 3-6 dates will normally tell you if you are going to be a bf/gf item...or if it's time to say - 'no thank you' next time he calls.

Simple answer. It depends. You might never become boyfriend and girlfriend but, if you do, it might be after just one date or maybe five or six

No magic number here. You are boyfriend and girlfriend when you both agree that you are boyfriend and girlfriend. Should never assume.

It depends on how serious it is and if you are both ready for it.
Some people go on many dates and are still not bf/gf. Some go on just one or none, and are already bf/gfs. It all depends on you and the person you are dating.
Good Luck!

This is life...you can't live by numbers. It all depends on the two of you. You need to talk about this, good communication is the best way to start a relationship.
