Whosoever kills a human being without (any reason like) manslaughter, or corruption on earth, it is as though he had killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life it is as though he had saved the lives of all mankind." (The Holy Quran 5:32) [This commandment is in the Holy books of Jews and Christians also. There is the Day of Judgment for all! May God guide us all to the right path. ameen.]

thanks to all those who are open minded enough to know before they judge and for the others ( peace )

Peace be with you and to the world.
You can't blame them. You have just been unfortunate that Al qada choose your religion to do their violent act. So if someone non-Islam heard the news about the violence committed by this extremist, almost everyone conclude the work of Islam.
But it's not without hope. Your fellow brothers here have been doing their job undoing the damage cause by extremist giving the best they could to explain their side. They dissociated themselves from extremist and go through the length explaining why they are not them.

Without speaking to any of the merits of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, (?) let's look at the context of our circumstances.
It is not ANY of the other RELIGIONS attacking those of us who live in democracies. It is Islamist Extremists, and only extremists, to be sure.
BUT---Where is the collective voice of the "Religion of Peace" condemning these actions.
Where are the Imams proclaiming the horror of these acts.
Where are those in membership and leadership of local Mosques decrying the outrageous behavior of these self-serving extremists?
You should be the LOUDEST oponents of these assassins, for they have hijacked YOUR reputation to serve their own ends.
If there were even a mere HANDFUL of your LEADERSHIP locally, nationally & internationally that would stand up and loudly proclaim their outrage, and articulate their disaproval of the terrorist actions, I don't think there would be AS LOUD a public indictment of Islam in general.
But even the most devout Muslim MUST admit that Islam, by-and-large has been conspicuously silent in the public arena.
You want US to look at Islam with an open mind. But YOU won't, as a sect of theists, expend any public stentorian effort to reassure those in your communities, states and nations that YOU condemn the behavior of these radicals, ostensibly by the words of the terrorists- "... in the name of Islam".
It is not incumbent upon those of us who think we are being targeted to "understand" what or who we percieve as a threat.
If you, a member of a group are not a threat, it becomes incumbent upon YOU as a group to stop whining about being misunderstood and LOUDLY proclaim the virtues of Islam, LOUDLY denounce the acts of these cowards, reasuring US you are no threat, and aid in every way possible to bring to an end this movement within your ranks that has sullied your good standing in the society in which you live.
Sorry you feel picked upon, but don't blame those who don't understand why YOU WON'T stand up and say "Enough!!"--and help with the remedy.

As like Judaism and Christainity, Islam is supposed to be a very peaceful religion. Now members of all three of those religions have broken those commandments of peace, and in return have gotten prejudice for their actions. Now is a time when a few Muslim extremists act upon their beliefs and according to most Americans, every Muslim is to blame. Prejudice is something that we all experience, and if you go through it now, hopefully your sons and daughters will not.

I'm with williegod on this one. If Muslims don't like the bad rap they're getting, then they need to speak up and denounce their own terrorists and put a lid on them. If I belonged to a group that fostered terrorists, I would certainly try to do something about it. By not saying or doing anything about the situation, they are supporting their terrorist splinter groups. My message to Muslims is, if you don't like the bad publicity your terrorists are giving you, then either convert to a peaceful religion or eliminate the bad apples and clean up your population and prove to us you really stand for peace and eliminate that evil word 'infidel' from your scripts and your teachings.

because stupid white people that watch to much FOX NEWS get wrong info and everything is this world. Islam has great teaching much better then the bible but a few bad apples have made the religion look bad. Like when Hitler had his own Preist. How nice of the Catholic church to put his needs over the needs of 11 million people that died.

If the overwhelming majority of muslims do not support these actions, then why do they not try to put a stop to them, or at least publically speak out against it. It's a tough question, so think about it. We never see muslims speaking out against Al-Qaeda, instead, when planes smash into crowded skyscrapers, we see images of men, women, and childeren in the middle-east, dancing in the streets.

If Islam truly is a religion of peace where is the outcry against violence? Why do Islamic clerics entice and encourage violence (virgins for suicide bombers)? Why aren't the clerics protesting violence? Where are the same demonstrations against violence as there were against a silly cartoon in a non-Muslim country? Why did they want to execute someone who wished to convert to Christianity?
I have yet to hear a good answer to these questions.

Muslims (and Islam) claim Jesus was a prophet but reject all His teachings ..
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross;
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ
The Bible says:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

Mo was a criminal and those terrorists are simply following his example.
The crusades were in response to what the bloody Muslims were doing. In other words they started the bleeding fight. Like they did in so many other countries.
