I saw a man on the bus acting strange in the presence of his little daughter, I sort of sensed something wasn't all right in their relationship and I wanted to talk to the guy but even if something sad and bad was happening there, how would I prove it? Today, I saw a guy kick his dog and when I threatened to call the police he wanted to hit me and I am a girl!! What do you do when you see such terrible things happen and you're alone and no one would stand up for the kid or the animal? These kind od situations really p*** me off because I love everything that's innocent & needs protection. And other people are so selfish, they don't see what's going on because they don't want to.

Good on you for wanting to do something. If I ever saw anyone kick a dog I'd freak on his a*s so bad. Stand there and CALL THE COPS. Remember what the punk looked like and describe him to the cops.. also tell them that the punk threatened you, that will get them there quick! PLEASE continue to protect the voiceless.. look at my icon.. I am an avid protector of animals and will do anything it takes to protect them, and the same goes for children. I have done both and will never turn away, and I pray to God that you won't either. God Bless You!!

it incredibly is the sorrowful area approximately all of it is all and sundry desires to help yet no person is there to diminish back you up. what's worse is thru the time you do call the police, the guy is already long previous by the time the police get there, in the event that they even take place. the only element best for you once you're on my own, and that's unhappy, yet you're able to stroll away. I mean what are you able to do? you are able to say something to the guy yet why possibility getting harm or maybe killed? what's greater significant, a dogs existence or yours? as far because of the fact the daughter element is is going, you do no longer understand what's occurring, you're purely guessing. you are able to finally end up inflicting something you are able to remorseful approximately. i comprehend it sucks how issues are in this international yet you nonetheless could look out for variety one and 2 and that's YOU and your loved ones. do exactly no longer lose faith, issues will substitute quickly as quickly as we least assume it. :)

When I see unjust things like you have typed in my head I always ask myself, "will going up help or hurt the situation?" In some situations if it is possilbe get a license plate number or even ask the person who is doing the abusing for his or her name. I have done this and more than once I was told it was none of my business and I replied "Well then don't do it infront of me and make it my business". I know its hard not to speak up for those who can not for some reason or another. Do not put yourself in harms way either, in situations like that I say a silent prayer and ask God for guidance and protection over whoever is getting hurt or abused. Good Luck and God Bless you!

It is very sad to witness something like that, but about the bus incidnet, what are you going to do, call the police and say, "I saw this guy acting strangely today, I think he's abusing his child." You wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
HOwever, you can call CPS and report him anonymously.

I know *EXACTLY* how you feel.
I swear I had that same feeling the other day about a guy and his daughter... But what can you say, he hadn't done anything "wrong" that I had seen. I didn't know him, or where he lived, so I couldn't call Child Protective Services to investigate.
It made me feel really powerless. So I prayed. God knows that little girl by name. He knows all the footsteps of her life. So I prayed.

Your making yourself very vanurable, you could call the police without telling the person if you see something that is not right. you do not have to tell the person.
