Yes, I've Tried it Several Times. I REALLY BELIEVED in it, and I REALLY Wanted it to Work! But Unfortunately, I just wasn't a good candidate for Hypnosis... not all People respond to it the same. Some people have a Very Strong Subconscious, that won't allow anything to penetrate it. Fortunately, that only happen in 1 out of 5 People that are Hypnotized... so the Odds are Very Good that it will work for You... 80% Chance.

Hmm, I tried hypnosis for weight loss, once. I'm not going to say it was a miracle cure.
The guy who hypnotized me was quite fascinating, though. He was very nice, and we had a very interesting conversation. He was very professional and gave me a tape to take home after wards. I think perhaps another session or two may have further helped but the sessions were quite pricey.
One of the things that made the experience so pleasant was the trust that was built between myself and the hypnotherapist. He fully explained everything, totally listened to my concerns, and I knew exactly what was going to take place.
The end result was untimately that I was given extra tools to eat healthier. After that, I did find the urge to eat more green veggies and drink more water. However, because of my spirtual beliefs now, I would not do this again or recommend it to anyone else.

It ONLY works if you want it very badly. You must be 100 percent receptive and cooperative. It is a guided meditation experience.
I wanted to quit smoking...
But once I was under, I became the victim of a sinister experiment to find out if I could be convinced that I was one of the teenage mutant ninja turtles.

You assume that being rational and religious can't go hand in hand. If everyone here and R&S would stop making so many negative assumptions about people then perhaps the quality of discussion here would go up. Thumbs up if you agree?

My mother-in-law tried it for losing weight, which isn't therapeutic, but I don't think it worked for that.
