WHen you have to hate to make a point and that is all you have, it endwells in you, just as the Holy Spirit endwells in Christians. I f you notice the responses of both you will what I mean.

Just like why some Christians here are bitter and angry, and why some Muslims and Jews and agnostics are bitter and angry. It is because they are human with human problems.

Who says we are bitter and angry. We're just staking our claim like everybody else.
And that is because we've seen our share of scam artists -- all trying to SELL their own brand of "truth", but yet so many of the witnesses (believers) do not agree with each other. I have known a lot of Pentecostal and Baptist people over the years (and Jehovah's Witnesses), and none of them agree with the others. There is always something about the other group's doctrines that they find fault with. And they will act like they alone have the truth in their church. And even within a particular denomination, they will disagree about the messages from other people.
So, we just simply get tired of being told what we have to believe. And then, when they go after our wallets .......
Just look at TV evangelists such as Jan Crouch, Don Stewart, Peter Popoff, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, and you will get the idea. Why do they want converts? Because they want $$$$$ -- and PLENTY of it!!

Because a certain amount of PEOPLE on this site tend to be bitter and angry. Don't be so quick to attribute these characteristics to atheism.

God gives us the blank canvas of life and the brush and the paints and we are supposed to provide the brush strokes. Maybe someone doesn't like their color array of paints or someone broke their brush. Plenty of people have bad bad situations that they are in that was not of their making. They deal with it. I see a bitter person or a defiant person as a risk taker. Acting like the late Steve Irwin tempting fate. Sooner or later if you repeatedly ask the question you will get the answer.

It is you who think we are angry and bitter. It is just a defense mechanism you put up because you can't refute our impeccable logic. It is you who are actually the angry one and you are projecting it onto us because you have to resort to attacking our characters and making up excuses for why you think we are wrong.

Same reason some Christians are narrow minded and vicious. Some people just suck, has nothing to do with the religion they chose.

Probably the same reason some theists here are as equally bitter and angry.
They are just unhappy people that want to take it out on those who have a different view on life.
