seriously... I'm not a scary girl, and I've never even mentioned marriage to any guy that I've went out with. It's not even like I start spouting off about serious relationships from the word go. If it goes well, then I assume that that's where it's headed - only if that's the signs I get! So far 3 out of 4 guys has given me the 'I'm not ready for a girlfriend' speech. I don't even think I'm doing anything wrong! Am I just unlucky? I have a lot to give... I'm fairly confident and think I'm a good catch. Just need someone I like to agree with me!

and the guys who gave me 'the speech' always say I came along at the wrong time, I'm really good for them and in the future they'd love to be with me. And they have come back to me so many months later! I just don't like being an afterthought. Rant over lol.

UNLUCKY HA lol I have been looking for a girl to settle down with and be with, yet all the time I see on this message board women asking how come guys dont want to settle down and aren't serious about relationships, I really just want to jump up and down right now even though iam in a library and say IAM, IAM! Seriously what is the deal where are all you women that want serious relationships because you are NOT around here. Theres nothing wrong with you guys are just, well d*cks to be blunt and they like to use all the best things that come their way.

Most of the guys I know actually like committed relationships. The guys you have dated just haven't been the right ones--if they know the relationship isn't right, then it is good that they ended the relationship. It gives you more time for the right guy to come along. Sure you're a great catch--but no one is a great catch for everyone; someone who is athletic and social is not a great catch for someone who likes to stay home and watch movies and vice versa. Hang in there, the right man will show up.

Because women stop putting out once we commit....LOL

Women complain about this too often, when the are teh ones that cause this problem. If you only go after the guys you meet in the bar, the sport jock or some goodlooking jackass, well. what else do you expect? Its like if we guys would go for a gold digger and later complain about being broke or better yet, date a **** and then complain about being cheated or getting STDs.

Dont want a player? Dont date one! Good guys are ussually not good looking. We are just cute....

Yip i agree, as you get older they will want a relationship but not marriage and so on. What a carry on eh? I reckon make you money drive a better car than them live in a flasher house than them and then have a child and tell them to go jump.

Times will have to change, either us woman should withhold sex or without our commitment and be self suffient and really not care either way men hate it, but remember look after you own needs and not their's until they commit.

Sounds like the guys you are meeting probably want to get laid only and no commitment. dump then girl. if you are looking for a serious relationship then after about 3 months to 6 months they don't seem serious or enthusiastic about it then move on.

guys are scared of marriage like it's a ghost that may destroy their freedom.

so since not many women will find their married partner, and with the increase of women and decline of men. why some people condemn polygamy. most men don't want to get married.

i personally don't have a problem with commitment, i don't know what these guys are thinking. if i had a sweet & hot little girl i would love to spend some real time with her.
