When I was still dating my ex, the sex was so-so (or even lousy). That was probably one of the reasons he left months ago. So why does he want me back now? Is it because sex with me is better than none at all?

Theory 2: The hand he's with now is even worse than you!
Theory 3: You felt that sex was lousy (with him), but he loved sex with you. He just left for some other reason. And you're a sex queen!

Could it be that he is the one who is bad and just blamed it on you? In any case, you are correct in thinking that he's just looking to have sex with someone instead of just himself. It was lousy for him, and i'm assuming it was lousy for you. Why go back to that?

maybe he likes you for more than sex and those things override the lousy sex.
PLus he may not have realized the sex was lousy, Some men don't think they need improvements when in reality they have a long way to go to please a woman.

maybe its not about the sex, maybe hes had time to think and figure out you is where he wants to be, theres probably more good qualities in you other than lousy sex

Dude that just rpoves that the bad sex was his fault, not yours. the bad sex followed him to where ever he went and now that he cant get any he wants you back cuz like you say, at least you gave him sex and that is beeter than his right hand any day. leave his azz, find a real man and never look back baby girl ;)

Maybe he thinks that you've gained some experience and improved with time. Let him know that you're still a lousy lay so that he wouldn't be shocked.

If your relationship was only based on sex then I suppose it would make sense that he would be coming back to you for sex. But is it possible that he has real feelings with you and wants you back because he cares about you, not just so he "has a place to put his penis"?

Maybe he found out that you weren't the problem and that he's the reason that sex was so bad so basically he's found out the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
