I do...but it's easier to understand when taken in context....
44Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. 46I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
47"As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. 49For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. 50I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say."

I do not believe that a just god would ignore a whole lifetime of struggling to be good and do good and condemn a person for simply rejecting one extremely incredible story about a dead carpenter coming back to life.

I do believe in that bible quote. All of gods words are very strict and for many its hard to believe because no one has ever met god [in life] but those whom do not abide by his rule and do not believe in him are stubborn and will live a short life.
John 3:16
For god so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son and whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Hopefully anybody who believes the Bible....
Jesus tells us again in different words like he did so many times that he is the only way to eternal life. Rejection of Jesus is like taking the highest winning lotto ticket ever and handing it back to the person who gave it to you and then going back to your cardboard box. In Jesus we are rich, outside of Jesus, there is only spiritual poverty.

I would lie if I said that I believed in that. I just know that I am loking out for something. God. But as a friend.
