Yes if uncontrolled tachycardia can kill you.

One example is that with the heart beating so quickly, the blood may not empty as much as it should between beats from the hearts chambers. This is called the ejection fraction. When that happens, the blood starts to coagulate or clot. If a part of that clot breaks free, it can stop the heart, or clog somewhere in the circulatory system.
