I just was wondering if a lot of you out there have seen Angels, Jesus, prophecies, or heard any of them? Or been touched? I know its possible (I'm not one of the flamers on here, as I am a Christian myself), and i just wanted to hear some other awesome experiences others had.

One I had (I've had about four different encounters with the above mentioned things, but this one means the most to me), I was praying to God, after going through a very rough time in my life, and in fact, I was pretty much rekindling my relationship with Him, because I completely dropped Him from my life for a couple of months, and I was laying on my back, crying to him, raising my hands in praise, and in my most heart-felt crying/expressing my love moment of that night, I felt him grab my hands and wrap his around mine. It was AMAZING. It also inspired me to become a youth leader at my Church, so it really was one of those extremely moving experiences.

Anyone have any great stories?

I'd appreciate no rude jokes or criticism for those not interested in what I have to say, because I don't come into your topics and act rude and inappropriate. I am very willing to flag those necessary as well, so please, only good and kind responces.

yes I have had a couple of experiences.....
the first was years ago and I was a new christian and my children were small and we were facing a very rough time and I was in my living room and I was crying and praying as I was picking up my children's toys off the floor and as I was on my knees I felt this touch on the top and side of my head...like a soft stroking ...it comforted me and I had no fear and I knew that it was God.....things didn't change in my life at that time but years later I could still feel that touch when I thought of it during hard times.......

another time I was in a confusing time with my walk with the Lord and I just stopped praying for about 2 weeks ....I just stepped back and didn't do anything as far as my walk with God was concerned and then one day I was watching TV and I got this strong urge to go and pray....I never felt it that intense before and so I went into my room and knelt down beside my bed and as I started to speak ..I heard in such a loud voice as if it was right there in the room with me a voice that said " I missed you".....I know it was in my spirit and I just cried when I heard this and Gods presence was strong.......
I know these things sound weird and off the wall to an unbeliever and maybe to some Christians but God is real and He will show Himself that way to all......God Bless

I had the exact same experience, when I got saved for the first time,I was on my bed crying and I lifted my hands towards the ceiling,I cried out to the Lord and I felt him embrace me,i actually felt his pr essence, his love and complete peace, this experience changed me completely,I've never doubted his existence ever since.Even when I stray from his word,I cannot deny this very real experience. He indeed is the true and living Lord!!!! How wonderful to hear u had the same experience, its just more proof for his power and Glory!
I never believed any of it was possible,I could debate very well with all the other religions and Atheist philosophies.I was very good with scientific and psychological rationalization, but when the Lord truly comes you cannot deny his pr essence, all skepticism leaves you.Its a remarkable miracle that once you have gone through you can no longer deny.
Keep in mind I never believed that I would have an experience like this one,I didn't even believe I was truly saved, but that night when The Lord came to me like that,I was completely changed from the inside, there is no explanation other then a very spiritual one.

God bless you.

One time I was singing to myself "come by here Good Lord," and it sounded like I heard a voice say "I'm already here." It was scary, but at the same time amazing! Like you, I was depressed and going through hardship in my life, but about a couple of weeks after this experience, I got a new job and I had been out of work for about six months and had given up hope. God is real!

Yes, 1st one when I was saved, a remarkable experience, the 2nd is when I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Both of those things are not believed by Atheist's who do not have the Ability to understand, as it is written:

1st Cor 2:14 says for the natural man cannot understand the things that are of the spirit of God for it is foolishness to him , nor can he know them for they are spiritually discerned.

The 3rd is when I witnessed a healing of a man whom I have known, who had M.S (Multiple Cirrhosis) He was wheeled into the sanctuary and the Pastor and several deacons lay ed hands upon him , and he did stand up and leaped, This man had not been able to stand for years, and now he stood and leaped without assistance.

Atheist's have no clue of this, so sad,,so sad.

I am leaving for a mission trip to Columbia. Satan has been attacking me for about 2 wks. I was having a dream involving demons. It was so real that when I awoke I was not sure if I was still dreaming. Lying in my bed I felt a heavy weight covering my body but it was extremely comfortable and it was glowing gold. It was the Armour of God. IT was his protection and his assurance that He is with me. It was an awesome experience.

That was a wonderful story! Alhamdilliah (praise God) that you were touched so and in turn share this with others! I am of a different faith but it is the belief in God that we share.
I experienced the greatest sense of peace after converting to Islam and have felt so much at ease whereas before I was depressed and my heart empty of a true belief.

Yes my friend: I have experienced all the above & much more...

I have prayed: and seen the sick healed... I should even be dead myself, but for the grace of God!!!

I have been given/Given prophetic word: and seen them come true to life...

I have witnessed demonic powers, and demons...

I have witnessed first hand: the awesome power, love, grace, and forgiveness of our Father... and seen it in the lives of many others!!

Sadly I don't believe yet that I have been 'Touched by an Angel'... but ... who knows!!

God Bless and Keep You... and hold you more... in Jesus Name.. Amen!! xoxo

I was once stuck in a snowbank up a mountain road in the middle of the night, and nowhere and God asked me why he should help me...three words got me out of the snowbank and back on the dual snowmobile tracks I had been following in the jeep. I didn't become more or less religous afterward, but can you guess the three words? they weren't "I love you."

im not saying this to be rude or critisize im just making alternate view for this. if you look up stuff on psychology, theres explanations for this especially if your really stressed or going through a real troublesome time, your mind will create feelings that dont exactly exist. (just like how skepto's see people that arent there). everyone is entitled to believe what they want but there are documented cases of people feeling things that are nothing more then imagination (for example phantom pain: is if you were to lose your leg from knee down, youd get a pain in your toe. now your toe doesnt really exist but ur mind fakes you into feeling it)

I am not christian either, but things similiar to this, happen to people of all backgrounds and various beliefs. The important thing, is the inspiration that it gave you, and the feeling of total love and acceptance.
