There is no specific exercise for losing fat. spot reduction is a myth. all you need to do is some type of cardio exercise such as jogging, swimming or riding a bike for at least 30 minutes a day. eat less food, stay away from junk and sweets and drink lots of water.

Walking and jogging are great exercises that require only a good quality pair of shoes as "equipment".

You cannot focus on burning fat in a specific area (it doesn't work that way), but you CAN tone specific areas. So do good aerobic exercise to burn calories and lose fat all over, and ab and waist exercises (look some up online and see what works for you) to tone the waist and tummy area.

Good luck!

The treadmill is your best choice for cardio and burning fast the quickest. Plus, it's an easy thirty minute workout every day and that will heat up your body thus burning the most fat. Theyre not that bad in cost, and there are usually a variety of workouts that you can do for you and your mom. That will definitely tighten muscles and burn fat without having to buy a ridiculous bowflex.

Well i used to weigh over 400,and now i'm down to less than 300.Drinking lots of water helps, but walking is the best thing.Start off with a 15 min. walk out and 15min. back, and then try to do a 20min walk, then 25,and so on till your body is ready to go further and longer.Jogging can be too hard on your joints and cause injuries.Weight training will help to build your body up with muscle which will burn off your fat and increase metabolism.Eat small meals 5 to 7 times a day, include lots of fruit and veggies.Do this and you'll see a difference...good luck.

Getting an exercise ball (cheap and effective) can be helpful and fun. They have been been used by physical therapists for decades. It's one of the safest and most effective training devices for the abs and lower back. Lying on the exercise ball, your hips curve down so you start your exercise at a greater range of motion than you would lying flat on the floor. This means more of the abdominal muscle gets trained.
Here's more info about the ball and exercises:

Start a regular regimen of Jogging in the ' park ' every other morning. Jog till you are almost tired. In two and a half weeks you will see you Spare tires start to burn away like melting butter. I do not advise to jog on the sidewalks of the roads because you will be breathing in Automobile exhaust.

Brisk walking is by far the best low impact way to burn calories. Crunches will target the abdomonal muscles if you are particularly concerned about that area.
