Avoid salt which is harder than you think because almost all processed food has it and fast food is loaded with it.
Lose any excess weight that you are carrying.
Exercise daily.
Absolutely don't smoke or consume alcohol.
Watch what OTC (over the counter), drugs that you take as many will raise your blood pressure especially cough and cold medications.
Learn that stress isn't caused by what's happening around you, it's caused by how you REACT to what's happening around you.

Exercise, low sodium (salt) diet. Don't add extra salt to foods. Lose weight, don't eat fatty foods.
Take stress out of your life. Eustress (good stress) is better for you than distress (bad stress). Look it up! Relax and just have some you time!

Weight loss if overweight, regular exercise, stress control, reduce caffeine, and proper rest are often suggested. If they always worked drugstores and doctors would lose a lot of business. A doctor should be consulted for proper care.

fat free, salt free diet......daily consistent exercise, and you can add co-enzyme Q-10 60mg daily to your regimen, it has been found to be effective in Japan and Europe, isn't usually known or well recieved here because the mighty healthcare industry can't make money off it.

you have to be careful with hbp. if you're supposed to be taking meds for it, then take them otherwise u could have a stroke or heart attack. u can try to lower your stress level and eat less salt and carbs in diet.
