And me and my best friend was wonderin' if she really died. Cause me and my friend things that she didn't really die, cause it kinda seems lil odd with that family.

Hey ffasheepdog,

Yes. Below are a few. Also the cemetery usually keeps a copy of the obit and death record. You can call a public library in the town where the Death was recorded, and usually, the library workers will help copy one from the news paper and email it to you. I have done that all over the country.

Also, you can get a copy of the DEATH CERTIFICATE, that lists the cause of death. Look for VITAL RECORDS on the internet in the TOWN, CITY, or STATE where the Death occured. Then apply for that. It is not free, but it will tell you a lot.

You can check the FAMILY SEARCH of LDS also. If a person died, it should be listed with them.

Go on line to the paper of the city where she "died." You can check the obituaries if you know the date of her death. Obituaries don't usually give you a cause of death. Can't you just ask your ex-girlfriend?

Do some research on some geneology sites. You can find some free ones of them and sometimes you can find a lot of information too.

There are no free websites that I know of but I think you can go to the local library of the area where the woman died and go through the archives of the local paper
