Let's say you notice a guy/gal walking past you on a busy street and you think he / she is quite Handsome.They totally pretend you don't exist how does this make you feel?Why do you think they didn't make eye contact with you?

I think a lot of people don't make eye contact because they have low self esteem themselves. It takes a lot of confidence to look another person in the eye. Of course, it always feels bad to feel you are being ignored but just because they don't look at you doesn't mean you can't walk up and say hello. Maybe they are shy rather then pretending you don't exist.

I use eye contact to tell if a person is lying to me about things. If I look at a guy and he doesn't look back, so what?

People in general are very involved in themselves... It usually takes some sort of outgoing act to make people acknowledge your existance. So if you really want people to talk to you and KNOW you exist... talk to them first. Be the first one to say something... Whats the worst that could happen?

You may have not been their type but that should not knock your self-esteem down. Just remember you will not be wanted by everyone but only the right one for you.

cause they don't think the sameway about me as I did about them, just keep on walking there will be someone else at the end of the street that will think you are "handsome~cute"...

maybe becuase they arent thinking in a way that you are, they probably have many things on their mind that are more important than tryin to meet someone
