Where I live when someone is 18 they are responsible for their own actions, not the parents. I feel 21 is more adult in age. Under 18 is still a kid to me because parents are still responsible for their children.

Legally, 18.
Emotionally/mentally, it varies. Some kids are as level-headed as adults at 16. And some kids act like children and show no sense of responsibility, consideration, accountability, (and all other various traits of adults) until 26.
It basically depends on a.) your perspective and b.) the person.

At 15 I had a hardship license a job and my own apartment(with roommates) I have made mistakes but have been responsible since a very young age. now at 30 i have a brother 31 and a cousin 42 who live with or off their moms. they constantly get in trouble and get utilities cut off for non payment. they don't hold down jobs and can not be relied upon for simple errands. Adult is a state of mind driven by responsibility and morality not an age.

depends on their maturity, usually 21 for a guy, even though they teach to to kill at 18, in the army, but men dont really grow up until around 30, for girls it is much younger, usually 14 or 15 they have matured enough to be concidered an adult in my eyes, alough 18 is the legal age for a lot of things...or 21 for drinking...so go by the law it is your safest bet....

Age isn't it
you don't become one until you are out on your own, have your own car, own house/apt, paying your own bills and taken care of yourself this does not mean living with your mama. get out and find some wigs of your own. I say no age really it what you are doing at the age they say 18 but NOPE you can' wash your own *** at 18 you still have to use your mother's soap like I said it's all in the age.

Legally its 18, in the UK anyway, but lots of people over 18 act like kids, and probably all do sometimes.

30,because people already made their stupid mistakes & have learned from them, but I am actually glad I am not 30,because that would suck. I think a age condsidered for a kid is anything under 16,because you can't drive, smoke, drink or live on your own & make your own money until your older than that.

For me it's a maturity thing. Living on your own and supporting yourself are good too. You'll know when you get there. Not now for sure.
