Because nobody would hve blond and brunett jokes like this one,
So a blond and a brunette decide to buy a car on the way home from the dealership the blond crashes, "ahhhhhh". While at the mechanics she says " I just bought it and cannot pay to fix it, what do I do"? The mechanic replies "take it home and blow in the exhost pipe so all the dent's come out".
Later the brunette gets home from work and sees the blond just a blowin, (pufffff pufffff) she say's "what r u doin"? After hearing the story the brunette laughs and says " silly...u have to roll up the window first".

Why are there so many dumb blond jokes? So all the brunettes and redheads will have something to do on the weekends.
Sorry, your question just brought to mind that joke and a score of other blond jokes.
So to answer your question, society has stereotyped women in general and hair color as a intelligence or personality factor. Neither is true.

Being a natural blonde myself, I have heard everything! I have found that it is actually the fake blondes give us naturals a bad name. By the way...I think that brunette is the new "in". Sometimes I wish I was a brunette, I think they are more beautiful.

I'm not sure that that's true. I've had girlfriends that were brunettes that were kinda dizzy, blonde's that were highly intelligent, and redheads that were mean as a hornet.
Of course the flip side has also been the case.

The redheads are jealous because blondes have more fun and brunettes are more likely to settle down and have a family so they created stereotypes.

it is just something some stupid person made up. i am a brunett and i have the most fun than anyone i no, i love to party and go out to the clubs and meet new bois and just have fun and get pissed.

my natural colour is dark brown, i have just spent the last 6 years blonde, it started off as a joke (long story) but kinda stuck, i must say i defo got more attention blonde, i dyed my hair back brown 2 weeks ago and nobody pays me that much attention. its strange that saying blonde bimbo...like i said im dark naturally and i am a typical bimbo! (and proud of it!)
