You kidding? It gives the answer right next to the use of the word in the New Testament. It means "blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord".

Hosanna occurs only 5 times in the Bible, all in the New Testament. The NT is written in Greek, 99+% of the OT in Hebrew. Hosanna is a transliteration from Hebrew into Greek from a Psalm. It roughly means "save now".

Hosanna is a hebrew phrase meaning "pray, save us". It was used by the crowds on Jesus' return to Jerusalem shortly before His death. He was on a donkey--the crowd was waving palm branches.
