Let me get this straight, real christians are like family they strive to be in agreement, started out as a commune practicing pure communism, actually care for the disabled, your founding father criticized the religeous authority's of his time openly using the best media of his time, definately was against violence and aggression, loaning money freely with collecting interest forbidden, and your leaders are suposed to be teachers, and instead of democracy there was originally trust in God to make decisions through a drawing of straws or some using some stones kinda like tossing a coin. If all that is true where did all these buildings, and people who say they are christians criticizing each other, large edifices and the the support of the money lender party, and agressors in war. and wide spread suport for Bush. Common you gotta be kiding right.

Great question, thank you for asking it...

Christianity includes many different people, from different walks in life. We come from different cultures, different morals, different races, yet we agree on one thing: Jesus Christ is God the Son, co-eternal, co-present, and co-equal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit during the creation of the universe.

Let's keep that separate from the political stuff. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that I have to support President Bush's policies (I don't.) I only have to support him as the leader of the United States (pay taxes, obey laws, etc.), but the ridiculous war we're in, the economic policies, etc...no, I don't.

Render to Caesar what is his, and to God what is His...my heart, life and love.

‘Real’ Christians, as you so put it: are all ‘Family’… with God as the head of that family!! But all families the world over: have at least, 1 or 2 members who would be classed as: 'Black Sheep', the out casts who are ‘different’ in some way from the rest!!

And then you have all your ‘Religions’, which are the real cause of strife, division, anger, war, etc… and religion has nothing to do with true/real Christianity at all!!

It is called separating the wheat from the chaff… the truth is in there… you have just gotta choose to find it!!

Christianity is as diverse as those claiming to be Christians. It all depends on where we are at spiritually in our faith. As a whole I think we would love to be one happy family but as you suspect there are black sheep's in every family. Personally I'm looking to be more a Christ follower as opposed to a Christian - everyone has their own definition of what a Christian is. We have to live our lives according to our own interpretation and if things keep happening or we aren't content - then we are off base and we keep seeking until we accept - then we reach contentment and go out and be disciples for Christ. Spreading the word - living the life - not judging others. Churches are hospitals for sinners not rest home for saints.

You do understand that all and sundry each and every person is persons suitable?? So there rather isn't any way i could desire to in all probability be responsive to what each and every guy or woman that announces to hate faith recommend. while you have been coming during all of those so referred to as fundamentalist atheists that claimed to hate faith why did not you ask THEM what they meant??? How the hell do you be responsive to what they have and have not studied?? Religions are synthetic i won't be in a position to assert I hate all of them, yet i'm able to for sure state that i've got not got use for any of them! Why are you so fascinated approximately what some atheist say they hate?

All families have problems within them, that doesn't mean they don't love each other. Granted, Christians may dis-agree with certain doctrine but we all believe in the essential truths of our faith. That is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and it is He who provided the way for us to be united back to our Father.

Certainly Christians don't desire a Theocracy. God doesn't even call for one. We are ta ugh to "give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and give God what is God's." We're not a perfect people as you might think that we think we are. We're striving to be imitators of Christ Himself and some people are indeed hypocrites. But that doesn't speak for all Christians. The teachings and truths of Jesus remain pure and holy, they never change despite cultural changes.

I think you have been miss-informed.

Religion is man's way of trying to reach God.

Relationship is God's way of reaching man, through Jesus Christ.

Christians = followers of Jesus Christ and His teachings.

May you find the grace of the living God and His Son Jesus. May your search be short...and your life long!

Christianity is like the loud, crying, screaming family down the street where the father is always beating the kids.
