the one who will be in the pit is satan
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit. ... And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit ... till the thousand years should be fulfilled." Revelation 20:1-3.
the bottomless pit is referring to earth after it is void of any living being.

Right now, no one is in the "pit".
Satan was here in the Book of Genesis. In the Book of Job, we see that Satan traveled to and fro in the world. Satan was here in Christ's time. Remember Satan trying to tempt Christ? But Christ commanded Satan to "get behind" Him, and that is where Satan has been ever since. He is being held by the archangel Michael, behind the throne of God, until the time comes when he is to be released (2nd beast of Revelation). Michael will then cast Satan down to the Earth for the summation of the End of Days.
Judas was murdered. Period. He's not in a pit. He's in Heaven, on the "bad" side of the division God made in the first chapter of Genesis, and he's awaiting Judgment.
The pit you are referring to is a place where Satan will be detained during the Lord's Day (the Millennium which follows the 2nd coming of Christ). After the Lord's Day, Satan will be released to gather up those who are still loyal to him. He and his followers will then be consumed with the fires of God's wrath.
That is the "pit" the bible speaks of.
Hope this helps.

Isn't the book of revelation all Symbolism and visions? Wouldn't we then need someone to interpret what everything meant? Someone like a prophet perhaps?
Leave it up to an un-inspired man.... and you will be sorrily disappointed.

Judas, along with Brutus and Cassius, was sent to the very bottom of hell to be chewed in the mouth of Satan, who was himself trapped in a block of ice.
