Download SUSE Linux for free
SUSE Linux is created by the openSUSE project, a Novell-sponsored community project dedicated to driving Linux adoption everywhere. Through openSUSE.org, you may download a free version (unsupported) of SUSE Linux from any one of over 100 mirror sites worldwide. +

Yes you can get almost any flavor of Linux for free! Check out the link below and click on the distributions button. It will give you a few specific options to search from a multitude of distrobutions to pinpoint the exact one you want, along with the link to download. My personal favorites are SuSe Linux, Fedora Core, and Gentoo. Try out a few different ones to see which you like best. Welcome to the world of Linux!

There are many, many sources of free Linux available. I believe that most versions are available free.

Two versions that I have personally used are:

Fedora is available here.
https://www.redhat.com/apps/download/

Centos is here.
