I say 6 months, been there,done that, a few times.

Wow, I don't think I've ever even looked at the date on a bag of chips! On the other hand, it's gotta be pretty rare that they'd be hanging around our house long enough to go bad...and hey, we're not dead from food poisoning (or soggy chips) yet!

I would go a long time ,,,,if the chips were not stale when I opened the bag. Once they are opened, it's just matter of time before they are stale.

If it's unopened, 3 months. If it's open and past the date, I throw it out.

i would say a couple of weeks, i have eaten then when they are up to a month past their date and they have not tasted good...

as long as they arent stale i say go for it dud but stale chips are nasty

i go with at least one week. after that they start to get stale

I don't eat chips since they are unhealthy and give you acne.

i would say 1 year ...any longer and i bet soggy
