Clare is twice its usual size ALL the time tide or no tide. It is not to do with the pull of the moon. Its to do with ATTITUDE,Harry Bohan, Ger Loughnane, Gary Pepper and add your own to the list. C'mon de Banner.I reared my family there and I do miss it, well except Shannon which is a craphole and always was.

If thats the case then Sandymount East is in Liverpool! You'd want to see how far the tide goes out there! How could you call land that is underwater twice a day part of a county? Surely its just beach?
