It'd be like walking up to Jackie Onassis with a sniper rifle necklace.

Jesus didn't die on a 'T' shape - a cross. He died on, what the Greek called, a 'Stauros', which is a plain upright stake.
The cross shape was a borrowed idea from the Pagans of the first century, who worshipped the sacred 'Tau' which represented the Pagan god 'Tammuz'.
How should Jesus feel about having a Pagan symbol representing him? How does Jehovah feel about Pagan idols? Just look at the 10 commandments.

The whole point of Christ's arrival to earth was the cross.
Jesus does wish to be remembered, however, through the celebration of drinking wine and eating bread.
When we eat of the bread, it is His body. When we drink the wine, it is His blood. This is how we remember and celebrate Jesus' promise to mankind of eternal salvation. The cross was the fullfillment of this promise to all mankind and that's why some people wear it. They really shouldn't wear it if the cross doesn't mean anything to them. I wear one.
Rappers with 20 pound gold crosses on they neck is silly fo sho'. Especially when they rap about drugs and murder.

I think, if Jesus came back now, there are many, many other things that would concern him before he started with the number of crosses put up.

Yeah. I know I wouldn't want to see the implement of my death hanging around everyone's neck.
Besides, I would think he would be even more upset over the fact that it used to be a symbol of a Pagan God... and one written about in the Bible. Tammuz.

hehe, yeah, Bill Hicks had a good piece about that.
I wonder why there aren't any other religions with execution devices as symbols, a guillotine, a noose, maybe a pair of rifles tied together with a blindfold.
I think alot of christians think that Jesus was the only one executed by crucifixition, they forget about the hundreds of thousands of others, kinda funny if you ask me.

He would be very upset with people focusing on all of the reminders of how he was killed. Would the family of someone who was killed in a car accident like to have movies and photos made of their loved one lying in a heap?

I have always thought that as well. It strikes me as the same as one of the people who just loves John F. Kennedy wearing a small golden sniper rifle around their necks to remember him. Very odd and one of the reasons I see christianity as a "death cult".

I believe that there are many things that would break his heart just like the religous people the firsttime He came. Times change but man still does the same old religous acts thinking it will please God and he tells us over and over he just wants a relationship with him.

No, He would not be resenting the crosses because that was His means of crucifixation and He would be glad that we acknowledge His death and resurrection and the crosses/crucifixes are just reminders to us of HIM.
