I have been on this diet for 2 weeks and have already lost 8lbs. But my metabolism has come to a complete hault. Are there any foods that I can have to help without going off of my diet?

A quick fix to the halt, would be to to increase your exercise to speed up your cardiovascular system. That way your metabolism will increase, and you will continue to lose weight on your diet.

All the previous advice is good. Also remember to space you meals so that you eat 6 times a day rather than just 3.

I think a minimum period of 2 weeks is needed. After that body starts responding.

2 weeks 8 pounds? how has it come to a halt? Just stay the course and exercise.
