Ok so I go to a Catholic School. It's a really big school, with like 2300 kids in it. But I don't get why catholic school principals are so strict? Like the teachers are nice but the principals and vice principals are always like so mean. Like today was first day of high school for the grade 9s so the VP comes on the intercom and screams to the 10s (my grade),11s and 12s "WARNING TO ALL UPPER GRADES, THERE WILL BE NO HAZING WHAT SO EVER!!!!! IF THERE IS ANY ... THATS ANY INCIDENT OF BULLYING OR HAZING, ANY STUDENTS INVOLVED WILL BE EXPELLED ANDD WILL NOT PASS THE SEMESTER. THIS INCLUDES BYSTANDERS ... BYSTANDERS ARE JUST AS GUILTY!!! JUST .. AS ... GUILTY!! ZERO TOLERANCE AT ALL TIMES ON SCHOOL GROUNDS!!!!. Thankyou, have a good day and please countinue with your classes. "

O.M.G. There like that all the time, even in other catholic high schools. I don't get why there like that cuz there is never fights or bullying at my school. So WHY are they like that in catholic schools?

Like, hazing is like not allowed in like public schools as well as like Catholic schools as well.

It's called discipline. Schools in which the faculty exercise and maintain constant and complete control of the student body, will produce superior students. It's that simple.

And with your own, like, words, you've, like, made my point, like, for me when you said:

"O.M.G. There like that all the time, even in other catholic high schools. I don't get why there like that cuz there is never fights or bullying at my school. So WHY are they like that in catholic schools?"

I think that the reason is because we as Catholics should love our neighbors (from the bible, I do not remember which chapter and verse.), and that is possibly why they are so strict about it at Catholic schools, also just because you do not know of any or have not been a victim of such sin full actions yourself dose not mean it dose not happen their...(my parents thought the same thing)

However I can not say exactly why for each school, so if you want to find out the reason behind it you could ask your principal or VP, also not all teachers at Catholic schools are nice...my old history teacher at Sacred Heart Jr/Sr High was mean...ask any one who attuned their when I or my sister went their!

All high school disciplinarians are immature bullies. That said, hazing and bullying are criminal acts, so the school is just trying to protect students and themselves, although the message was delivered inappropriately.

I went to Catholic school in the 1970s. We had physical hazing and we had a disciplinarian that had a paddle and used it.

You said "there is never fights or bullying at my school". Well, you know why right?

They are like that in all schools. Why? Were you looking forward to hazing someone? Awwwwwww....... too bad, so sad. You don't get the opportunity to humiliate and possibly seriously harm someone.

Because for Catholics, there is only one way to do things, the Catholic Way. Do it that way or you will go to hell. You are lucky you are in school post-Vatican 2. If you want to try different things or even, heaven forbid!, think for yourself then you better plan to do it outside the auspices of the Catholic Church.

Catholicism, putting irrational fears into the hearts of man for over 2000 years.
