My buddy worked fast food and he said people that ask for extra Katsup, or no onions, or cheese only etc. risk the chance of a worker wiping a booger in their sandwich. He has seen it done.

I work in the fast food industry so I think I can answer your question. Yeah its true that we don't like it when customers ask for change when ordering food, because it really confuses us. We have to finish the transaction first, and then give you change. Just please ask change after you pay for your food. Thats how change artists work, asking change right in the middle of the order to confuse the employee on purpose to get more money or somethin..

And the booger thing is just nasty. Yeah I hate it when customers are hella picky with their orders, but if workers really do that and you find that out in yoru burger just send a complaint right away!!! Maybe your friend is just playing with you for all he knows.. Thats probably happened before though

I think thats just an exageration or something that most people think. I think that the poeple that may get something nasty in their food are the ones that order it in a bad way.....or mean customers. I worked at Jack in the Box for like almost 3 years and I never noticed anythng like that or anyone doing anything dirty. We would get very irritated with the rude customers but thats about it!

Let me know where he works, I won't go there!

If you are nice when you ask, they probably won't do that. Even if they did, other ppl working there would tell the boss or the manager would catch them most places.

If you treat any FF or regular restaurants with an attitude, you're asking for your food to get trashed....Never make your waiter mad, they have been known to spit in food.

Well, Burger King advertizes "Have it your way." My experiences is that when you change the standard, 1. they always get it wrong, but 2. you always get a better sandwich anyway. Usually more lettuce.

Nah, used to work at McDonald's, we prepared the order as requested. It took longer because we had to start a fresh one....but we didn't screw with them.

Now if you returned something & were rude about it....I've heard of people messing with those (never saw anyone...but heard about it).

customers are always right. as a consumer, people have the right to have things done they way they want.

those who contaminate other peoples food risk the restaurant to be shutdown for doing so.

I am sure it happens, but in most places, when do they have the time and privacy?

Often, in my experience, they just ignore the request and send it out anyway. By the time you notice, you are hoime already.

Personally, when I am dealing with a kid with picky choices, I order his burger 'naked' and add stuff at home.

You should eat whatever you want, you are paying for it. That kind of stuff does not happen as much as people thinks.
