One pan meal. This is a delightful apple flavored pork chop recipe.

6-8 center-cut pork chops (on the bone)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2-1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
1 large onion, chopped
3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
1/2 cup apple juice (more if needed)
salt & pepper

Rinse the pork chops, pat dry. Season with salt & pepper. Dredge the chops in the flour, shake off excess flour.
Heat oil in pan until hot but not smoking.
Add chops, brown well on each side, (1-2 minutes). Remove chops, place on brown paper to absorb excess oil. Return to pan.
Add onion and garlec to pan with the apple juice. Cover and steam chops for about 20 minutes or until done. You may add more juice if it starts to cook out.

30 min 10 min prep , 6 to 8 servings

Heres a very quick way - not as posh as apple sauce, but perfect when you have little time:
Cook your pork chops in a frying pan in a little oil. After they are done keep them warm for later. Pour some apple juice into the pan to get all the meat flavours and reduce it by about a 1/3. Add some brown sugar to the apple juice reduction and slices of apple about 1cm(1/3 inch) thick. Cook to the apple is almost soft with a little bite left and the liquid is mostly gone.
Serve the pork ckops with 2/3 slices of apple on each and pour over the remaining liquid.

Apple Pork Chops Recipe

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
6 (1/2-inch thick) pork chops
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 medium-size cooking apples
2 cups apple juice, divided

Core unpeeled apples, and cut into rings; place on chops. Pour 1-1/2 cups apple juice over apples. Combine sugar and allspice; sprinkle over apples. Bake, uncovered, at 325 Farenheit for 1 hour or until chops are tender.

Remove pork chops and apple slices to a serving platter, reserving pan drippings. Dissolve 1-1/2 tablespoons remaining flour mixture in remaining 1/2 cup apple juice. Combine flour mixture and pan drippings in a saucepan; cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve sauce over pork chops.
