I'm making a cake and I don't have brown food coloring...oops!!

Red, blue, and yellow. The primary colors.

If I remember correctly - if you mix the three primary colors, blue, red, and yellow, you always get brown. Then you can tint the brown with one or two of the primary colors to make subtle changes. Good luck!

Use cocoa powder for color and flavor.

For food coloring, use a mix of red, blue, and yellow or any complimentary colors- red/green, blue/orange, and yellow/purple. Each combo will give a lightly different kind of brown

orange and blue
yellow and purple
and im not sure if i missed any colors but there you go!
or jsut mix all the colors together
