Aight, there's this girl that I'm really good friends with that I really like. We're very good friends, but just friends...I want it to be more. She was talking today about how she thinks friends make good partners in a relationship...but later, we were hanging out with a group of friends and she was hitting on this other guy and everybody said that they should go out together. And she didn't seem to mind, she kinda liked it.
Anyway, I want to ask her out before someone else does, but I don't want to lose our friendship. How am I supposed to do THAT?

Speak up buddy before its to late. Just be straight with her and say, you know I really like you and I think we should try dating and see what happens. Dont make it into a big deal, start out slow.If she says she does not want to lose the friendship, then she is not interested and telling you in a nice way, since she told you that she things a good relationship starts out as friends first. If that happens, just say maybe your right. This way you gave it a shot, and you will still have your friendship if it doesnt work out.

If you like her that much, you have to take the chance. You're going to kick yourself if she's starts dating somebody else, and then the friendship won't seem all that important when she's spending all her time with the other guy. Just ask her out.

I would ask her b/c you may regret it, but keep in mind she may have been just simply saying that when 2 people are in a relationship it is nice when they build a friendship, but not nessasrly talking about you.

Well...you either risk the friendship, ask her out, and maaaaybe get her to go out with you...OR you could sit back, be her friend, and watch her say yes to another guy that'll ask her out.

Decisions...decisions.
