Do you remember Cadburys Wispa Bars?

Description: Cadburys Wispa Bars were first produced in 1981. They were a chocolate bar with air bubbbles in it (like an Aero but from Cadburys). Original Wispa bars came in a distinctive blue packaging with bold red letters. The Wispa product range included the original milk chocolate bar and Wispa Gold, Wispa Mint and Wispa Bite. They dissapeared off the face of the earth in august 2003 and were replaced by the Dairy Milk Bubbly, which might I add is nowhere near as nice. Why did Cadburys take away our beloved Wispa bar? We will never know.

Wow, Wispas! Loved them. They've gone the same way as Cabanas (remember them?) to the great Chocolate Heaven in the Sky. RIP.

I asked this very question to Cadbury and the reply I received was, "Customer demands are constantly changing, as such we discontinued Wispa bars and there are currently no plans to re-introduce this line."

Is that ok for you?

They were delicious, but disappeared in 2003. Here's your answer: -

How glad am I that you asked that? You prompted me to check, and now I'm going straight out to get a Dairy Milk Bubbles. Cheers.
