Some questions in the Food and Drink section are so dumb relating to 'pigs eating muslims' and peace if 'muslims ate pork and brandy' really lame!!

Yes. And, while I won't dispute the fact that there are dumb questions here, I would point out the popularity of Gerry Springer in the UK.
I don't think it is insightful of you to infer that the existence of dumb questions here is an attribute unique to Americans.
