1) Almost every book in the Bible says, "Thus sayeth the Lord."

2) We have no signed works of Homer, Plato, Socrates, or even Shakespear, either. I guess they are illeterate, too.

3) Many artists hide their signatures in their paintings. God describing so many scientific truths that could not have been known during the time of writing is a very valid signature.

4) If this is the best argument you can come up with for not believing in God, I believe it is time to stop making excuses. Jesus loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. Please let Him.

Jehovah identifies himself through the pages of the Bible as being the author (2Tim.3:16 and Pslm 83:18).
Now as for a signature.... Jehovah used 40 different penmen to write what he wanted to put down - just like a boss dictates to a secretary. They wrote his words down - not their own. He is the author.

Have you ever stopped to think that the reason God acts contrary to the way human expect is evidence of Biblical stories being true. In almost every interaction, God acts contrary to the way a man-made god would act. God acts contrary to the way we would act. If we made God up, wouldn't He be a lot more convenient and easy to accept?

Shouting never solved anything. You should look into anger management.

Remember, the books of the new testament were not even written until 200 years AFTER Jesus died. And no body knows which of the gods really authored the old testament. It's a collection of ancient writings written by many different people.

How many science text books have you read that have been signed by the author or authors????

Seriously.... if you are going to claim that someone is illiterate, you should really check your spelling and grammar first.

Seriously... dumb a s s. If you are going to claim that someone is illiterate..... please.... check your spelling and grammar first. Otherwise you simply make yourself look like an idiot. Especially when you reiterate a point that wasn't challenged in the first place.

Have you ever read the Bible? I believe his signature is in every story. His signature is in every verse. Its in every word, every paragraph. The Bible is God's word, and we don't need to SEE a signature to know its from Him. That's what faith is for.

"In the beginning was the WORD," not the word of god! that's buzzphrase terminalogy by several Televangelists heard today! GOD inspired it to be written/recorded. Were tape recorders available back then it would still be recorded, huh!? { WORD= the means to communicate my Truth} You need to not get hooked on the how, but the why question? GOD BLESS YOU!!
