Well....
There definitely are stupid questions.
And some people do act really foolish.
Some people just don't know any better, though.

Some say, the only 'stupid question' is the one you do not ask. I think some people here simply type before they think...some are bored and more interested in reaction, than a 'real' answer...and some are too lazy to do their own research so post in a place like this and hope to be spoon fed what they want to know...
Bear in mind also, many kids post here and so their questions may appear foolish to an adult...don't assume just because you know something, everyone else does to.
The truly idiotic ones, simply cause me to feel sorry for the poster.

I think stupid can be a relative term. For example, someone who's been in an industry for 5 years might think of questions that someone who's been that industry for 3 months ask are stupid. Yet someone who's been in the industry for 15 years, might find that 5 year person stupid.
So refering to those who aren't experienced as "stupid" is kind of arrogant elitism. Unless of course the person is experienced enough to know better. But how do you know how experienced they are? Do you even bother to find out?

Stupidity is not having the intelligence to fathom reasonable knowledge or direction.
Ignorance is not having any previous knowledge or direction on a given topic.
Someone can ask a stupid question but be ignorant on the subject. Ergo, a question can be stupid without the asker being stupid.

Both, I mean really how do you say "What is the Capital of Mars?" isn't a stupid question? As to stupid people they are so numerous on here it is easy to find them.

The essence of stupidity is a person who should know better, but doesn't. So people should know better than to ask stupid questions.

there are no stupid people they may be special and some takes alot longer than others but there silly and foolish questions but if they don't kno something we can't penalize and hate them just because they r a little slower than others or just want to be plain out ignorant. So there are no stupid questions
