I am 23 years old- 5'6, and 125 lbs. I am pretty active; run 3 miles, 5 days a week and I also go rock climbing 2 hours 3 days a week. I want my body to be lean and toned. I am very aware of the food consume, and eat pretty healthy. I have a sweet tooth, which I try to curb with sugar free gum and sugar free sweets. Otherwise, I try to avoid carbs and eat a lot of vegetables and meat. In order to tone up my body do I need to work out more than I already do? Or is it a matter of eating less and eating healthier? If so, how many calories should I be consuming on a daily basis?

You know - you sound like you are doing everything fine - but you do mention *toning*. If you are finding that the running and the rock climbing are not toning your body - why don't you try adding (or subbing) some weight lifting in there for the toning (try lifting in place of maybe the rock climbing for a while) and see if that tones you up???
Weight training is great for toning up if that is what you are looking for. Go to a gym and tell them what your concerns are in the way of toning and see what they suggest.
But you do sound like you are in great shape and are doing everything fine with your eating and exercise program at the present time. Good luck and keep it up :-)

You should talk to a dietary adviser or a dietitian. It sounds to me like you're doing everything fine; however it also sounds like you might be just a teensy bit weight obsessed, which could be dangerous. Please seek advice from a registered dietitian!
