Hey, you pay for what you get. If you want the 2.99 buffet at Long Duck Dong's, don't be surprised that they're throwing in used syringes, dog testicles, and pigs ****.

Yeah, I am. I mean, it sounds like they had a lot of food left over for them to do that by the end of the day. I have been to quite a few buffets and there have been times where the food were going so fast, that one minute the food was out, the next, it was all gone. Personally, I would not have been surprised if they did the same thing or if they let their workers take the rest of the food home. There are some buffets who actually donate the food to shelters so that the food would not go to waste. If buffets did this instead of "recycling" food, then maybe that Chinese buffet would not only have served a purpose, but, they would still be in business. maybe even having a tax write off because of the food they donated.

I never heard about the reusing the foods left on plates. I do know that some foods make a rerun appearance in the fried rice and soups. But not after it was on someones plate. Maybe that is why the above mentioned place was shut down.

Oh, I thought you meant bring back out the trays that were not used - you mean taking uneaten food right off people's plates and putting it back in the trays? I can't say for sure, but I make sure I destroy what I don't eat on my plate anyway. I would not be surprised. You don't see a lot of diversity in the staff at those joints, but it's risking looking like a bigot to assume anything based on one place.

I am sure many do, food should not be kept warm for more than one hour and then it must be at a minimum of 75 degrees fahrenheit. After this it should be thrown out.

I wouldn't doubt it. When a health inspector comes, all they have to do is throw it out right there and make new food. Eww
