Mine always used the litter box --- if your's doesn't ---- shame on you for not keeping it clean . . .

Don't know why the do it, but my cat did that when he had a urinary tract infection, only pee'd on the rubber back rugs in the bathroom.

They love the smell of wet rubber (just like some humans)

because that rubber was manufacturd containg derratives ov pee....and cats recognize it b as a place to go potty

I've never heard of "most" cats doing that....so I think your statistical data is a bit off.

It must be the smell of the rubber.

Its the smell... Have u ever smelt one.. it smells like pee.. so they think its the loo
