squid is good, i never had blow fish, chicken liver is good if made right. steak tar tar is good too. for everyone who said sushi ,you have ABSOLUTELY have no idea what you are talking about. the definition of sushi is rice and vinegar. not raw fish like everyone make its out to be. and when it is raw it is of a high grade. if you enjoy food on any level above just to survive you can not be scared of food. i have eaten shark, eel, elk, alligator, and bugs. its more than just food, its sampling different cultures.

I would have to say Blowfish (pretty risky for my taste) would be at the top since this is one on your list...but I also would not try Frog Legs or Snails (escargot). I have had Squid, Chicken Livers and Steak Tartar they are actually not bad (if prepared right).

Phall

"A Phall is a form of curry. It is widely reputed to be the hottest form of curry available, even hotter than the Vindaloo, with at least 10 or 12 ground chillies included in a standard portion.

It is popular in Britain but is often not listed on the menu because of its level of spiciness. Cases have occurred where customers have vomited or passed out as a result of the extreme level of chili contained in a Phall"

I love seafood but I can't bring myself to try oysters. Everything else just isn't a problem, but from the look alone & all the varied responses I get when I ask how it tastes, what goes on it, what about the consistency....well, let's just say that I doubt I'll ever manage to get down a raw oyster.

I've never really worked with any seafood; so that's slightly intimidating. I'd never eat chicken liver, let alone make it, so that pretty much just leaves everything else on your list!

When I was a kid we ate blowfish by the basketful. You clean them on a board with a nail in it. No big deal. They are pretty good actually as I recall.

I like calamari and sushi, no problems there.

I've never seen blowfish but I probably wouldn't try that. I have tried alligator and it's disgusting - wouldn't eat it again (too swampy tasting).

Anything that is alive - like bugs - I would not eat. It has to look and taste good for me to consider it. :)

I've tried all but the blowfish/puffer fish. Not too crazy about that one! Even if I was brave enough to try it, it cost about a hundred bucks for one of those fish! So they can keep their toxic fish all to themselves!
