No, it doesn't. You lose muscle through catabolism, which then slows down your metabolism, and then you gain fat because you're burning fewer calories while eating about the same as before.

No, fat is stored calories, or energy. Muscle, if lost, does not so much turn into fat. Increased fat storage due to lack of exercise is from taking in more energy (calories) than your body needs. If a person who is inactive were to sit at rest for 24hrs, that person would only burn 1100 or so calories, this burn comes from your body supporting your brain, lungs, heart, and other organs. A more active person would burn somewhere around 1400-1600 calories in a 24hr rest period due to there higher metabolic rate. Some one who has a lot of muscle thats stops working out only begins to look pudgy, only looks this way because that person is probably still eating for there previous active lifestyle.

Frequently that fats will likely be burned to make use of as power for the body and the muscle cells will grow higher and more advantageous, so ab exercises will get rid of fat however you wont lose much weight if any on the grounds that the muscle groups develop too.

Muscles build up through exercise because they are counting on the work in the future. If they begin to think there is no more heavy lifting or training, they will reduce to normal size. Muscle cannot turn into fat, that is biologically impossible.

Usually that fats shall be burned to make use of as vigour for the frame and the muscle cells will develop larger and more potent, so ab sporting activities will do away with fats however you wont lose so much weight if any seeing that the muscular tissues develop too.

If you continue to eat the way you did while you were exercising you will gain weight but that will just be excess fat, your muscles don't immediately turn into fat, they just slowly fade away to be replaced by fat.

You lose muscle.
If you eat more calories than needed you gain fat, but muscle does not turn to fat.

yeah. it's physically impossible for muscle to actually turn into fat. it's like you said. you lose muscle mass which is REPLACED by growing fat cells. (actually, this only happens if you gain fat. you can lose muscle and not gain fat) it's kind of an expression but it's also kind of descriptive of what happens.

If you don't exercise it won't turn to fat. But after you sit there without the muscles, you wont burn as many calories and then the fat will come.
