Wait it out until she/he feels comfortable enough to get in the car (with plenty of tissue or wetnaps on hand) and go back home, where he/she can rest and be treated.

thats so sad....thats what happened to my daughter (7years) this morning. She had the dirrehea this morning and still wanted to go to school. I was worried that she would have cramps again. I think I am going to have to buy childrens Immodium, if theres such thing.
You're friend should just take the kid home and let her poop as long as she needed. I dont know the circumstance but sometimes you only have it once and it goes away.

If the child couldn't stop why was the child removed from the toilet? She should have been allowed to stay on the toilet until she was finished and then take either home or to the doctor. To try to force her to stop is abuse.

You do the same thing you do when your child starts having diarrhea in a non-public toilet. You see if it goes away during the next 24 hours, and if not, make an appointment with your doctor.

Diarrhea can happen to anyone at any time. Take the child home. Give her something for the diarrhea, plus Gatorade,7up and soup. Dehydration, is caused from loosing fluid in your body. If it doesn't get better, call her Doctor.
Sounds like your friend did the best best she could, with what she had.

that poor child.
didnt the mother bother waiting until she was done?
i think that she should be reported for child abuse. its bad enough that the kid has diarrea, but to be dragged through public with paper in her pants is bad.
its sad that the child had to go through that. didnt the mother realize that the child had it to begin with? or if it happened there, she needed to stay in the rest room until she was done, then if it continued, her mother needed to take her home.

If that happens then you better bring her quick to a doctor, you can't put a stop to it. Put a disposable diaper to contain it, then bring her to the doctor or a clinic for treatment. Dehydration is a bad consequence of diarrhea.

Embarrassing accidents happen to all people of all ages.
Obviously she couldn't stay in the public restroom for 6 hours with her. Hope she got her home quickly, with as little fuss as possible, cleaned her up and cared for her.
