start the computer open windows explorer click on tools on the menu bar at the top/folder options/view/select show hidden files/untickbox hide protected operating system files you will see the hidden folders on your system then look for a folder in windows named options or preinstall if you have this open the folder format a re writable dvd copy all the files fom out of the foldaer by drag and drop make a floppy dos system disk use nero make bootable dvd put floppy in drive will read floopy leave in drive then insert all the files from the folder on the hard drive as they are when you open the folder click burn this will make you a bootable dvd which should be idetcal to your other
another tip for you is below to do a full restore with out the recovery disk just do the following as above to open the folder click on set up exe this will start the system restore tried to keep as simple as possible

You only get one chance with the built in software. You can use a program like ImageMagic or Norton Ghost to do the same thing. These are a bit better since they can create a complete image of your current computer drive.

You can contact the Maker and buy a copy of the recovery disks from them.

Try running it under Safe Mode. Not all windows features are loaded, so it may ignore the fact that one has already been made. I don't know what you would type in the CMD line under Safe Mode to make it work though, sorry. Good Luck!
