We just did our names and wedding date inside w/ 2 hearts bound 2gether engraved w/it. Also helps men remember their wedding date. So no excuses about 4getting date.

We didn't do anything because you can't read it I think it is romantic but it is also a waste of money because you never read it and nobody else knows that it is there. We couldn't engrave on my wedding band because it was too small that is what they told us, but then we decided we didn't want it anyways.

My engagement ring doesn't have anything engraved except for the "platinum" stamp. My wedding band has hubby's initials and our wedding date. My husband's wedding band has both our first names and our wedding date. (His band had much more room for engraving than mine.)

My husband had engraved "My Love" on my engagement ring, "By My Side," on my wedding band.

On his wedding band I had our names with the eternity symbol engraved.

The date of the engagement is fairly customary and traditional. More than that can be a bit schmalzy

When the time come's for that...I would want something personal and meaningfull. My boy friend and I have a few comments we always say to each other. They make us laugh, smile, and be silly. Make it meaningfull, from your heart. Not some i love you, I heart you, something with thought.
