No- stir whichever direction you like and change directions if you need to. I do and it has made no difference what so ever. As a matter of fact, if you're making chocolate chip cookies there is better chance of distribution of chips if you do switch directions.
Have a great day!!!

No stir any way you want and the eggs to,but let me give you a little tip if you don't know this already, after you make the cookie dough cover it and let it sit in the freg. over night and bake them in the a.m. it makes them lighter.

Doesn't need to be. But it's easier if you stir it in one direction - quicker. I make lots and lots of cookies and always stir in the same direction.

It depends which hemisphere you live in...
No, seriously...I don't believe it matters at all for either situation. I have never heard of that concern before, but I'll keep an eye out for any additional information since you brought it up.

It doesn't matter which direction you stir any of those things you mentioned.
Out of curiosity, did some one tell you it did matter?

YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT SOUFFLES WHICH GO FLAT IF YOU CHANGE MOTION. DOUGH CAN BE STIRRED IN ANY DIRECTION.
