I want to grow my hair longer but my friends say my hair looks better shorter what is better?

It depends on the individual. But I think long hair on both genders is cooler than short.
But if you want to grow your hair long, go for it!
I have just barely shoulder length hair because mine refuses to grow. I wore a long haired wig on Halloween, and not only felt different, but I felt SOOOO much better! Now only if my hair will just grow, dang it! LOL!
If you find yourself feeling good with the long hair, than keep it because people tend to feel their best and act their best when they go with how they want to look.

I had the same problem as you do, Its not what your friends say, Its how you carry it off,
If you can carry of a long hair with easy, Then go ahead and let that hair grow. But if you feel you cannot carry it off, Then better stay with the short hair.

it deprends on the shape of your face. Short is easier, long
does not n\mean better its all in the way you wear iyt if your real short long hair is not so great If you just find a nice cut that goes with the shape of your face , if you face is fat long hair is a no no

Longer is better my hair is to my butt and i get compliments all the time everybody loves it and wishes they had my hair and if i ever mention cutting it off everyone says "I will kill you if you cut your hair i wish i had that hair" Plus i personally think short hair on alot of people is ugly Long hair is more sexy

it totally depends on your face shape. if u have a oval shaped face then u r blessed because every hairstyle suits it. so u can have short as well as long ur wish. every length has its own attraction. even i wanted to grow my hair long but i can't manage so i stick to short. if u like to have a short pony then it also looks cool becoz then u can either tie ur hair or can curl or leave them as they r.

If your friends think short hair looks flattering on you, then stick with it. Otherwise go for whatever length you think looks better on you and feel comfortable with.

i say long hair & so does my husband. but, a hairstyle depends mostly on the shape of your face. You can go to salons & look @ books W/ lots of different styles & different faces to see what suits you best. Make the desicion for yourself.
